Unit 4: Friendship
Friendships come in all shapes and sizes.
Unfortunately we all get busy and forget that each one is a treasure.
The stories in this unit are geared toward helping your child recognize
those friendships for what they are–A true treasure. But not only that,
it is meant to help them recognize the need to nurture those friendships
whether they are great or small.

Lapbook This one has a few really fun folds that I just came across. The Wrap up is with the full download as well as separate. This wrap up is actually one mini book, but you can copy it as many times as you need. What you do is have your child think of family and friends that they know. Then have them think of a way (or two) to strengthen that relationship. Do this for each friend. Each book can hold up to 6 friends. Take it easy and have fun with this!! Project Pack The first project is a scrapbook. Now your child can do any project that they would like. The purpose is to provide a gift for a friend. The project I chose to put in the project pack is not of my design. It is however very inexpensive and quite cute. And a boy wouldn’t be so against doing this project. As it is made out of paper bags–very rustic! But can be made as cute as a girl would like! Here is a direct link to the directions. Paper Bag Album Instructions The second project is a group effort for your child and either their friends or their family members. The project is to perform random acts of kindness. They are to work together and provide services without being “caught.” |
