American History
I'm workin' here!!
Please keep in mind this is under construction. I have two studies that are currently being worked on. Please see information below on each study. I also have a Presidential Study covering the past Presidents up to and including our current President, Barrack Obama.
A Young People's History of the United States. This was my original plan. I was going to use this as a spine for my kid's American History Study. However, this plan became much too in depth and "Harsh". Harsh is my term for it. It's very truthful, and doesn't pull any punches. Now normally I would say this is a good thing. I want my high schooler to know this information. I don't want to sugar coat some of Life's unfairness and cruelties when looking at history. However, I became quite concerned for my younger children. Ideas like genocide just isn't what I want my 6 year old facing just yet! So I put this study away for the time being.
History Of Us! I am really looking forward to putting this study together. This is not an "Official" study. This will be just something That I came up with. If it turns out anything like my Book of Virtues, it will be massive, amazing, and I will probably post it for sale, after I gain approval from the authors. However, it will be free while I am creating it! I do not have a projected publish date. I do plan on it becoming a steady addition to this site! If you don't see anything new in a while, please send a request for me to "Hurry Up, already!" (Page has yet to be created . . . )
Presidential Look up This is a fill in the blank research project to learn about the past and current president. It can be used for either elementary or Middle school. I imagine High School could use it as well, though I think they would be bored with it. They could use it for a research and report project however.
